2019 Park Cleanup!
Submitted By Rob Winship on Sunday, April 21, 2019
The Sarnia Braves Minor Baseball Association will be participating in the 2019 5th annual City of Sarnia park clean up.

Some have already started outdoor workouts and I'm sure that you've noticed the amount of 'winter' litter that has accumulated at the ball diamonds. The City of Sarnia is hosting their 5th annual park clean up and here's our chance to help clean up the diamonds that we use.

The official start time of the event is 10am on Saturday April 27th however your coach may already have communicated their team plans. The Braves' organization has committed to help clean up the Clearwater diamonds and Tecumseh Park. If your coach hasn't reached out to you, please show up at either park at 10am and we'll put you to work!

Please bring with you:

Gloves (some will be provided), close-toed footwear, outdoor clothing and rakes if you have them. Some gloves and garbage bags will be provided however it'd be best if you have your own.

Following the cleanup, there will an appreciation BBQ @ 12pm hosted by the Rotary Club of Sarnia-Lambton at Canatara Park.

Please see the attached sheet for safety tips:
